big trip

We had a great time at Fall Creek Falls on thanksgiving. Although Mike was not able to be with us, he was with us in heart. Alex was passed around like a sack of potatoes and Ryan ran around like the jealous child. Although challenging for mommy, it was well worth it.

Ryan , the ever loving big brother just can't seem to get enough of Alex. From morning to night always wanting to know where "his baby" is. He loves him so much right now. I just hope it lasts.

Oh, and by the way--yes I MADE THE CAKE. A little bit of a challenge, but enjoyed nonetheless

Ryan's Birthday

Today we held Ryan's fourth birthday party and a little lunch to introduce Alex to some of Mike's family who had not met him yet. Nothing really big. We just had over a few friends and family here at home. Ryan had a blast with his gifts (loving the dollar store) and his dragosaur cake (I couldn't decided if it looked more like a dinosaur or a dragon).

On the up side, Ryan is still playing the roll of big brother very well. He is very loving and caring. He is all about giving kisses as well as trying to help him burp. What a sweetheart.

Halloween

I wish I could say my older son was as cute as his cousins on Halloween. NOT SO MUCH. Ryan refused (yet again this year) to dress up in the costume which he himself pick out. Oh well. At least his little brother didn't care to look cute.
