Our latest toy.......uh........investment.........for fuel economy
Really, a scooter gets 100mpg. And due to the fact that my pathfinder gets 16mpg and the sentra about 26mpg, we're trying to buy less gas. We're going to try to use the scooter to go back and forth to work and the sentra when we're home with the kids. The SUV will be parked in the garage except for the occasional outing. We've already saved a good bit just driving the car. As crazy as it seems--it will pay for itself in the first 6 months. Considering the fact that out avg gas cost was $600-700 a month--we'll be cutting that in half. And just in case you wondered--yes I have driven it and it's a lot of FUN!!!!
