Some of my other fave pics

Friends

Ryan and John Martin

Alex and Millie Ann

Renee and Katie

Towards the end of my parents' stay, an old friend I grew up with came for a visit. We haven't seen each other in almost 12 years. It's amazing how time flies and lives change. She's married now with two children, one of whom is just a few months younger than our baby. We had such a great time just catching up and letting our children play together. It turned out to be a great day.

Ryan in the Bubble Room

One of the days while mom and dad were in town we visited The Explorium, formerly known as the Children's Museum. This was our first visit and Ryan totally loved it. It was hard to get away for lunch. Thank goodness after lunch Mike was able to meet us and take him back for a little while. My favorite exhibit was the Bubble Room. Ryan's of course was the dinosaur area. As much as he loves dinosaurs, he is going to have to be a paleontologist when he grows up. After lunch we strolled around town so mom and dad could take a few pictures. Here are just a few from the day.

Nana and Popaw visit

sweet baby

Beautiful boy

Precious baby boy
I dropped Ryan off here for the day (Ha Ha)

This past weekend my parents drove up from Mississippi to visit for a few days. We had such a great time. They loved seeing the boys and the boys really enjoyed them as well. It seemed as though we went non-stop between Church on Sunday, a baseball game on Monday, and The Explorium on Tuesday. I'm going to post some of my favorite pics, but that will be hard. Nana's camera is AWESOME and I got so many great shots it's hard to choose.

swim lessons

Amazingly enough, swim lessons are going okay. Tomorrow is the last day ( a make up day since they were run out one day this week for bad weather). Ryan has learned to push off the wall and use a kick board and flotation devices. I was really impressed today when watching him swim toward the deep end. It's sad to see them grow up--but what a proud mom I was today.

Family

Have a good nap handsome prince

It's been forever since I actually had a chance to sit down at the computer an blog for a while. Life has been quite busy and work even more so. I don't really see how there can be any more pregnant women in Lexington and the surrounding cities. Haven't we delivered them all by now?

Anyway, the boys are extremely busy these days. Ryan has started swim lessons at Transylvania University. Day 1, not so good. Day 2, a little better. Mike took him and got some pictures on the second day. My how he is becoming such a big boy.

Alex has started saying "ma ma" and "da da" It's just the sweetest thing to hear him say it. He grins all the time and I think he's trying to cut a few more teeth.

This past weekend granny and Aunt Debbie stopped by for a visit on their way home from West Virginia. It was short, but wonderful. Living so far away I don't get to see family nearly enough. Granny just clung to Alex while she sang him to sleep. She read to Ryan in him room which totally made his day. I have such a wonderful family-----oh and drama during dinner. I turned on my gas grill to heat it up. Ten minutes later my backyard neighbor was at my front door with the fire extinguisher. Yes, the grill was on fire. Just at the connection site so no too bad. At least the whole tank wasn't up in flames. And my house is still intact. Thank the good Lord above for that.

I think that's about all to update now. Hope all are well
